Privacy policy

Gamers Hub Sepsi is the community portal for gamers in Sfântu Gheorghe (Sepsiszentgyörgy) and the surrounding area. This page explains in plain language what data we process, why, and what you can do about it.
1.Who runs this site
The portal is run by private individuals and volunteers in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania. We are not currently a registered association. The controller's contact details are below.
2.What data we collect
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We never see your password. We also store what you add to your profile (nickname, bio, language, platform IDs, favourite games). We use no tracking or advertising cookies; we use a single cookie that keeps you signed in.
3.Why, and on what legal basis
We process your data so you can create an account and so your profile and community features (events, posts, trading) work. Legal basis: providing the service, and your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)).
4.Who can see your data
Your profile is private by default. It appears in the player directory only if you turn that on. Your email address is never shown to other members. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
5.Where data is stored
The database is hosted by Neon in Frankfurt (EU). The site is served by Vercel and sign-in is handled by Google. These providers process data on our instructions.
6.How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your data.
7.Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict and object to the processing of your data. Send a request to the address below and we will reply within one month. You may also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
8.Minors
The portal is intended for people aged 16 and over. Under 16, an account may be created only with a parent's or guardian's consent. We do not show minors' data publicly, and the site has no private messaging.
9.Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with the update date.
